Job Overview
Zuitt is looking for a passionate and dedicated Japanese Language Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will teach beginner to intermediate-level students through online classes while helping them build both language proficiency and cultural understanding. You will also play an important part in enhancing the curriculum, improving teaching materials, and supporting students in reaching their goal of working in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Japanese language classes for beginner to intermediate-level students on a daily basis.
- Handle either day or night class schedules, depending on program needs
- Provide student consultations and learning support as needed
- Prepare and develop teaching materials based on the prescribed direction and curriculum
- Monitor student progress and assess learning outcomes
- Recommend improvements to teaching materials, delivery methods, and course curriculum
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to student learning and class experience
- Perform other duties related to the instructor role as needed
Qualifications
- Must have JLPT N3 or N4 certification
- At least six (6) months in teaching Japanese, English, or any other foreign language
- Passionate about teaching and continuous learning
- Good business communication skills in English
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Computer literate.
- Must have a stable internet connection
- Willing to work on-site or report to the office on a monthly basis
